Instagram wiped off my restored iPhone: can I get it back on my new phone?

Hello Everyone,

I had to restore my iPhone 4s due to it not connecting to wifi. This confirmed that it's a hardware problem and I will be getting a new phone tomorrow. I of course backed up everything at itunes, but many apps were wiped off completely it seems. When I restored the phone with the backup they were gone. When I did the restore it told me some things which were paid for would be deleted and would have to be paid for again.. this is crazy.. can't itunes restore things better than this? Most of these apps were free and I got them through itunes/apple!

My instagram and ibg star app were visible on the phone in the back up but they weren't restored. I'm just wondering how to get them back? When I get my new phone if download instagram will I just be able to reconnect to my account? I spoke with someone at ibgstar/sanofi today who told me itunes would back up all my blood glucose records and they would be restored to the phone but they weren't. I'm so upset. I have my instagram account online as well but I can't see any information about this there.

Yes when you get your new phone all you do is download the app and sign in and you will be set to go. And also you will not have to repay for those apps unless your iTunes account was hacked into
