Can i Disable Google crawler for two/three days?

Hi,
I know directory with reciprocal link is bad seo. But is not it okay two disable google bot to crawl my wordpress blog for few days. I am thinking that after the i get submission confirmed in that directory i will remove the reciprocal link from my blog and enable google bot again.

NB: The directory will confirm submission within a day.

You can stop crawler to crawl your page by using NoFollow NoIndex meta tags on your page head section.

I can't give you any suggestion on you should apply this trick or not because i have't done this, however if it works than let me know
