error 340, how to fix it?

Whenever I try to forward or reply to an email I get the error message


Error sending message
your message could not be sent
(340)

I thought I was hacked, so I changed my password and restarted computer. But it is still doing it.

well, a mail 340 error message might be caused due to an Internet connection problem, a virus infection or some other issues on your PC. Fix them first and you can send/receive emails properly.

Why do they all try to sell you something, does anyone know how to fix this irritating problem without a sell connected to it?
