How do I activate my contact list in Classic mail by typing the first character of an addressee as I have done?
as I have done in the past in the Classic version and which is now available in the new version? I do not like the new version and want to continue to use the Classic version but my Contacts are gone (via typing thye first character of the addressee . Is the no direct way to chat with Yahoo?

The Classic version is gone for good

Yahoo has advised they are aware of Contact issues with some users and are presently trying to resolve those issues...You might consider going on Twitter/Facebook as they post updates.

Also, once the link is displayed you have the option of contacting
them on Twitter and Facebook (links on the right side)Many issues are covered on these sites and Yahoo provides updates on the status.
