Google Chrome problems?

Hi I installed Google Chrome about a month ago. Yesterday i went on the computer and all these pop ups came up and these ads. i tried to uninstall Google Chrome and it reboots my computer. I go on safe mode it just spam resets me. any one know how to get in and uninstall Google Chrome without having to reformat my computer??
edit: OK thanks i finally got into the computer and did a system restore then uninstalled some stuff . thanks for the help

just uninstalled mine(to see if there was a problem)
uninstalled in 5 seconds.
if you have vista
click on start > all programs > click on the google chrome icon in "all programs" it gives you the option to un-install >click on it. it
if xp /2000 and it will not give you the option to uninstall as above .
try ~
go off line and try again to remove from add and remove programs .
some programs keep re-connecting to their home page if you try online.
