Can I make my internet connection better?

So I have a linksys router in my living room thats somehow connected to the phoneline too, and then I have a desktop in my room and the wifi signal is too weak in there so I wanted to know if there is something I can do.
I have a Dlink router and would it be possible to connect the two routers to create a stronger signal?
Please let me know, I;m not sure how to do this

You can buy or make an amplifier, you can also move you router. The problem with moving the router is that it must be connected to the modem in some way so you'll have to have wire running through your house.

get an ethernet calble and you will have full connection. its nice make the investment
