Please answer,why do girls usually don't answer you on fb,in a shot time like you do?

So I have a crush on this girl,not sure if I really have feelings for her...
Bu just wondering,my ex on fb didn't answer me in a short time...Or didn't even answer(Just like this girl)
Oh and if they don't answer,should I stop messaging them or message them in a not annoying way and ask them why they aren't answering...?
Please answer and don't post stupid answers (No offense)
Oh well,I don't really now her in person,we just talked and are online friends,and she's on regularly,when I ask her why she is n't answering she says she was not at the computer or that she is busy doing her homework etc.
How does that change the answer?

Is she regularly on fb? If so then maybe she doesn't like messaging via fb or maybe she's not at all interested. But you don't want to send her numerous messages because either way it's annoying (logging any every time to find a new message or logging in once a month to find 20 new messages).
Do you see her often in person? Try talking to her then, it might be hard if you're shy, but don't think about how much you like her when she's around, think about how badly you want to get to know her. That doesn't mean having an interrogation, ha; make it easy going and don't forget to laugh even when things aren't that funny, because laughter makes things less tense.
If she seems interested in you and not like she's trying to be nice just to not hurt your feelings then you can take a breather, you're doing good. In fact, ask her if she'd like to hang out sometime!
Being persistent is admirable, and putting yourself out there like this will show that you've got guts, but don't push it too far, try to watch for hints that say she's not into you because you don't want to become the creepy annoying kid I know, there's no straightforward answer here, but there hardly ever is when it comes to relationships.
