can you edit photos on instagram without an i-phone?

I dont want to just make an instagram account to find out, cause I dont want to sign up and get pointless emails all the time...

i dont know much about instagram exept you can edit photos and stuff like that.

I dont have an I-phone or anything, but I do have a question. I have a nice camera, but i dont have any photo editing software on my computer, so if i get an istagram, can I edit photos from my computer? or do you need a iphone? I want to be able to edit adn do stuff with some photos i have. So can you use instagram on your computer to edit photos?

Instagram is not photo editing software. If you have a nice camera why would you ruin the clarity and detail of your photos with dumb filters. I think gimp is free for download online, I have not used it but you should give it a try.

Well, instagram is also available on Android...
If you like instagram style effects and you cant use it on your phone you should try some other photo editing tools to get the similar effects.
You can try Picmonkey or Fotor. The two are my favorites!
