Is this DSL package too slow?

Here is my situation

With my current internet cable i get 20-30MB download 2-3MB upload but constant problems with internet and phone not working

The only other option is DSL which offers 1.5MB download 896 Kbps
@Jerry i have a tech coming out tomorrow its just annoying since my modem replaced like right now i can't even watch a youtube video goes for 10-20 seconds and its done
i speed test and i see 0.00 download..

Stick with your cable but you need to contact them and complain that you are not getting the services you are paying for. That has happened to me several times with Charter and at times they sent out multiple techs telling me nothing was wrong. Eventually I complained enough and they finally figured out the issues. Bad wiring in a node in the area. I'd much rather do that that downgrade to DSL which in my opinion has far worse issues. I've worked remote desktop support for AT&T DSL end users and trust me was a nightmare. Plus I had it before and it was awful.
