Ebay question need help?

Heres thing i was on ebay looking for accessories for my ipad and left it unattended for a few minutes to go get the door when i came back my little brother was about to buy a keyboard for the ipad luckily i came right before he purchased it but the item said sold and when i checked my buying items it appears as not paid... So question is do i still gotta pay theres no option in there to cancel or remove it from the buying section it worries me i bought it and cant see if i bought it or not will i have to pay anything i told the seller about the incident but hasnt responded

You can explain to both the seller and Ebay about the mishap. They might open a case if there's a dispute between you and seller.
