Domain & SEO Question.?
I have a blog for expats living in Dubai the domain is dubaixpats.com now I want to open a new site up for South Africa. Is there any way to get it instantly recognised? e.g. If I open up a site called southafricanxpats.com I will have to start from scratch won't I with the SEO ect ect? Sorry I am not very good explaining. What I want to know is there a way to get Google to recognise and say " ow yes DubaiXpats.com is the same company as SouthAfricanXpats.com will give them a decent ranking? Thanks in advance
Thank you very much your both legends. Will pick best answer when the time comes! Cheers

All that i can say is that you can use a rel="me" tag in both site's header.
In DubaiXpats.com header put <link href="SouthAfricanXpats.com" rel="me"/>
And in SouthAfricanXpats.com header: <link href="DubaiXpats.com" rel="me"/> and from the author's gogle+ profile put links to both sites.

Success!

Google is already crawling your web host account for the first site.

If you're using the same web-host account for the second domain name, then yes, Google will crawl there as well. Learn about htaccess to ensure Google crawls the whole account.

Google knows about all sorts of sites, good and bad.
A good ranking is to do with good content.

you need something quick and easy to advertise and spread the business name in a whole new location, what i suggest is that you check out google adwords, SEO is slow and takes time, adwords is faster and direct customer targeting service. But please note its not free, and once you get to learn about it you would know why.

If you need more info just let me know.
