Hello

You are looking for what we like to call a webstore or ecommerce site or storefront. I have never heard of bigcartel, but I will give you a list of some of the websites I have worked with and really like! I looked at Big Cartel a little bit, it's a simple shopping cart with probably an option for a storefront

Etsy is great for clothing items, homemade items, candy and food items and much more. They have free and paid options. Obviously paid offers more options and customized layouts and templates.

shopify: I have used this website a lot and their templates are very customized. Prices start at about $29 a month for 100 products. They also have a trial so you can check it out before you purchase anything and samples on the website.

3dcart: Is a very popular option - take a look on their website for samples and you can see why. Very very professional and custom templates!

Another option you have is to do an ecommerce site with something like Wordpress (standalone) and just buy a nice template for $5-$100 (or more if you have more lol). Some cool Wordpress Clothing e-stores you can check out:

As a professional Online Marketer and website/blog Designer/Developer/Marketer, I usually use Shopify as a cloud-based store system.

Shopify supports mobile devices (some don't, like the Magento "Go" service). Shopify integrates with PayPal for both PayPal users and the top credit cards, so you don't have to pay for a separate credit card gateway service. Shopify is not free, but it is reasonably priced.

We use Volusion.com for our online dog store. Many layouts, very customizable, and easy to use. You can integrate many things, and even edit layouts if you have a good concept of html, css, etc.

They start at $39 I believe, and thats good for up to 500 products, and they obviously have larger packages.

Just check them out, they have 24 hour online chat for issues that you may have.

The website you're looking for is Etsy. It is an excellent way to market your goods online.

Etsy is an e-commerce website focused on handmade or vintage items as well as art and craft supplies. These items cover a wide range including art, photography, clothing, jewelry, food, bath and beauty products, quilts, knick-knacks, and toys. The site follows in the tradition of open craft fairs, giving sellers personal storefronts where they list their goods for a fee of $0.20.
