Why do i have random cookies?

recently i decided to check my computer and delete unwanted cookies and remove acces to local storage for my computer cause it is getting old, and beginning to slow down. I was surprised to find i had a lot of cookies from sites i don't remember going to. Well, i deleted all the ones from sites i don't go to regularly. That was on sunday. Today i decided to check my cookies again (I'm home sock from school and i was bored) and i again found a large amount of cookies, and from sites that i have not gone on. Where are these cookies coming from? No one else has used my computer.

Every website you visit will leave a cookie in your computer. You should remove temp files at least once a week on your computer and be careful about visiting unknown websites.
