My husband had a secret FB account.?
I have been married to a nice guy for the past 4 years, ( no kids).Recently i ws shocked to learn that my husband had a secret FB account. He never approved of me having an FB account since he said he was "protective " about me. Only coz of him i cut off contacts with all my male friends. But when i looked thru his friend list, it had many female friends.During a casual conversation too , i heard him saying to his friends that he is against having FB account, its just waste of time.So there was no question of me eve asking him if he had an account. Coz from his talks it appeared he hated it .I m sure he has no affair outside but i felt offended since he kept it hidden from me for so long and tactfully used words to cover up everything. When i went thru the chats he had with few female friends of his, i read him giving them compliments on their looks .BUt he wudnt approve me talking to any male friends , let alone receiving compliments from them.
After that incident , i've kind of started loosing trust in him.Since i have never kept anything hidden from him i cried a lot.Now when he gives me compliments it feels like fake to me.
I felt like a fool ..I m a housewife , and he acts very dumb ,probably to make me feel that he is very innocent. But having a fb account and chatting with his female friends without letting me know is something i still cant get out of my head. We had fight on this topic 2weeks back and then things were ok but i still cant get it out of my head.Am i over reacting ?

maybe he has a deep intention, and by "deep" i mean secretly, its very weird for a man to hide a fb account from his wife, especially if he is giving other female friends compliments. it also depends what kind of compliments he was giving them, unless you've told him before that you don't want him giving any compliments to any girls. i think you shouldn't of told him that you knew about his account, you should of stayed quiet, that way, you can secretly check his account every now and then, and find out what he is using his account for, you should act like you have forgotten about the account, then, you should go on it weeks later or you should check it daily, to see what he is really doing, hope this helps,
oh and by the way, what did he answer? if you think he probably gave you a good answer, then maybe nothing is wrong, i mean he is your husband and you know if he is lying or not, but don't forget, if he didn't give you a good answer then it can also mean that he was just simply nervous because you found his "secret" account. hope this helps. God Bless You.

He didn't want you to have a FB account because HE had one and you would have found him. Also men who don't trust their wives around any other men are likely to be deep down a cheat themselves. To hide an account shows lack of trust. When trust is gone the marriage falls apart. Now your going to check him all the time due to this behavior.

ALL wives say "I'm sure he's had no affair" so forget that thought now. He can hid things well obviously! He's already cheated in my book with having emotional affairs with other women online. So now it's time to speak with a lawyer and find out how you can get out of this marriage.

As for being a housewife go find yourself a job for income your gonna need it.

Omg similar thing happened to me! My boyfriend hid everything from me and only to find out he was cheating all along, don't tryst guys too easily, I say open your own fake Facebook account and chat him up/flirt with him as though you are someone else..test if he is loyal and doesnt initiate anything with the "fake Facebook account"- if he doesn't do anything then that indicates he is trustworthy and you should let go of it Smile

FB allows you to experance the world, people, places, trends and culture ... make your own account ... just use an assumed name, address, etc ... then go have some fun. Post a fake picture ....
