Because you've done the Microsoft Updates, doesn't mean that it updates EVERYTHING. It only does the Microsoft products which is Windows and Office (if you have it) and other Microsoft Products (if you have them).

To update Firefox and Safari, you may have to go to their respective home pages and download them to get the most recent versions of the software.
