Complicated High School Girl?

Okay it's more in depth then, "Hey, I'm shy and don't know how to ask her out." It's more like: There's this girl that I've spotted that I think I like? But we have not talked once considering shes a grade younger. I found her Facebook and while searching for common interests in her "Likes" on Facebook, there is something she "Likes" Called suicidal thoughts. Upon further research, I find shes the creator of the page. It's very unpopular with only like 10 other people who follow it. I know if there is a problem like suicide with this girl I can help. But I can't just talk to her. It doesn't work. When I've tried talking to her one time, she acted as she was either very uninterested in talking to me, answering me in little detail as possible, or just thought I wasn't worth her time. If I befriend this girl I can talk to her about stuff like this page she made on Facebook, but how do I get her to WANT to talk to me?

Ask her questions where she needs to give in depth answers. Make sure they are interesting otherwise she would get distracted and bored.

If I were you I would go up to her and just tell her she is very pretty the next time you see her. Then try to make small talk and tell her you'll see her around. Just start by saying hi to her in the hallways. Or even text her on Facebook once or twice. Not to much. If you make her feel like she's worth something I promise it will help her. I was in the same place as her and a guy did the same thing to me and I'm almost depression free now (: good luck
