What are some sites like Craigslist?
I just moved to south Alabama from Baton Rouge Louisiana and I want to buy a locally. Are there any websites out there like Craigslist and Louisiana Sportsman for Alabama?

Ross,
Here are free, well-established local and regional Craig's List alike classified sites, in alphabetical order—this is not an exhaustive list but merely the sites that I use myself: http://www.backpage.com http://www.beatyourprice.com http://www.bonanzle.com http://www.kijiji.com) http://www.epage.com http://www.half.com) http://www.hoobly.com http://www.ioffer.com http://www.livesimon.com http://www.olx.com http://www.oodle.com http://www.usfreeads.com http://www.webcosmo.com Craig's List is probably the most renowned classifieds site out of all, but those aforementioned are valid too. —Pascal Perry Online Findability and SEO Strategist Incidentally, informed online buyer |

I like backpage but they are expensive because you have to pay if you post a lot of ads or they will just delete everything. They kept deleting my ads when I reached about 30 ads and I had to start over. I guess this is there way of saying if you want to post a lot of ads you must make money so buy our premium ads. I don't post spam or anything scammy, I am just trying to make a living like everyone else. My favorite free site is ClassifiedsEarth because I can autopost to my FB wall, I can use up to 6 tags in every ad for a nice seo boost and I can even embed youtube videos using their free video posting tool. I have not found a site yet that offers what this site offers and the seo is very good. It is only a PR3 but I think that will become a pr4 in a matter of time.
