Tumblr is asking to reset password? Is this a scam or something!?!??!?

Okayy so today I went on tumblr,and I noticed it said I had to log in,so I did them it said that there was a suspspicous activity and it said I had to click on "Reset password" and they will and it in my email but I didnt click on it...sooooo whats going on?? Im complealty locked out

This happened to me once on Twitter. It's to stop anybody from hacking your account that you might've accidentally come into contact with. It should be fine once you reset it - I'm pretty sure it's for your own safety. Don't worry about it too much.
