Talked to a college graduate on facebook, now she's claiming it was her 15 year old cousin under her account!?
I was talking to a woman (with pics of a college student at UH) on Facebook under her post that she was in a relationship with a male facebook friend of mine (it showed up on my male friend's Facebook timeline).
Despite my never talking with her about even meeting (she asked about meeting twice and I completely ignored her)...she is messaging me claiming she's going to call the cops on me on the fabricated charge of asking her 15 year old cousin (who, according to her, supposedly snuck onto her Facebook account, never identifying herself) to meet (which, again, I never did ask about). Can she truly abuse the law like that and get away with it? What can I do to best counter this? Furthermore, can I charge her with abuse of the law or a related charge? To note, I have screenshots of the entire conversation recorded...in case I need to use them as evidence. Ads |

Ignore it all and defriend them.
The "law" is not interested in petty facebook squabbles between adolescents. Ads |

Tell her that you didn't know it was her cousin and that you thought it was her. If she doesn't agree and still call the cops, there's nothing to worry about since you got evidence.

Break off all contact - IF things are as you say, IF there's nothing on either computer about meeting with a child you have nothing to worry about.

Ignore her and unfriend her, but save the conversation just in case it's required as evidence.

Anyone can notify the police of anything. If you are trying to ask if this person will indeed notify the police, and if the police will investigate and if the investigation will show some sort of wrongdoing on your part, I have no idea.
