Suddenly slow internet?
In the beginning of the day, the internet was running normally, then a couple hours later it stopped completely,so I reset my router and checked all cables, everything was fine with those, so then I called my internet service provider and he reset everything for me. It worked then but it was extremely slow and buggy. BTW it all started when I was playing online on my PS3 when it disconnected and even since restarting everything I can't sign back into the PSN, however I can connect to the internet with my PS3. After several hours of slow internet on all other devices, it suddenly ran like normal again.

BTW, I run maintenance programs on my computer weekly such as defragers, virus scans, malware scans, etc...

I don't have a virus and I checked my computers task manager and CPU usage and they all seem normal as well and technically my download speed and upload speed were still relatively fast when my connection seemed super slow.

Why would these things happen and why is it running normally now?

Could a virus on my parents computer be affecting the performance of all other devices including mine? I can't check for anything on their computer because my dad thinks I'm too dumb to tie my own shoes, so there's that.

I think you should check all the connections correctly

Even though it sounds like a networking issue, it still might be a good idea to try a software cleaning and optimisation program like Smart PC Fixer (http://tiny.cc/pcfixer)

Hope this helps
