why does google chrome keep using yahoo as the search engine?

why does chrome keep using yahoo as its search engine whenever i use the omnibox i already checked the setting and its set to google but it continues using yahoo

You can change it by going to:

Press Customize and Control (top right corner button that has 3 horizontal lines)
Press Settings
Scroll to 'Search'
Change it to what you want

As suggested, change the setting.
You may need to delete yahoo and any others you don't want.
I have google as my search engine and have deleted Bing which used to pop up constantly even when you clicked a link to the web site you wanted.

how do you know ? mine says Google too i think my whole computer is run by Google yahoo or IBM sometimes that pops up i don't get paid so i can care less what company runs what just wish they would back off and leave me alone and i have no interest sometimes it says i am i on face book i have no face book account and do not like social net works last time i signed on face book was over 3 years ago and it didn't look right and i couldn't use it so i deleted it
