my internet from time warner cable?
I get 100% signal from the modeum / router and my max speed wired is 15mbps why when I go wireless I'm at 4mbps?

Data always takes longer to be received with wireless internet. Wired internet provides a direct and protected path for data to travel. Wireless requires both devices to find one and other over a connection in the air. Because wireless signals are not shielded, they are subject to data loss and interference.
