I'm listening to electronic music?

I just had an uber productive hour long study session with friends on facebook (we have a facebook group specifically made for studying french, in which we have a test in), and I was listening to music the entire time.

I feel like listening to the upbeat music kept me on my toes, and prevented me from getting bored, but it was quiet enough (it was on a moderate volume) that I didn't get distracted. At times I had forgotten I was listening to music, but I seemed to be working at a rate way faster than normal.
