Wireless internet problem: Wireless internet keeps dying while hardline stays active.?
This is a strange one. We have three computers in the house. Two laptops that are connected to the router wirelessly and a desktop computer is connected directly to the router (hardwired). The issue is, that when the desktop computer is in use (accessing the internet), the two laptops loose all wireless connectivity and the only way that wireless access can be restored to them is for the hardwired desktop computer and each of the laptops to be rebooted. I cannot figure out for the life of me how the hardwired desktop computer could be killing the wireless internet access for the two laptops.
Also, just to mention, that if the hardwired desktop computer is not in use, then the two wireless laptops do have internet access UNTIL someone gets on the desktop and starts using the internet. That kills the wireless.

You should set up your computers to have manual IP addresses, and set up your router to not assign IP addresses.
