Youtube not loading?
I have a new Acer Windows 8 Laptop that won't load youtube videos. The video doesn't turn black, it just buffers a couple seconds and then stops altogether. I tried using different browsers, turning off adblock, reinstalling flash player, and the only thing that has worked is using a proxy. However, I still would like to work past that temporary solution and fix this problem.

Thanks for your help

Remove adblock and kill off the proxy. Check your time and timezone (Example: EST +5:00 Eastern Time Canada & USA), sometimes having the incorrect time can also be problems for the country your living in and make sure it picks up right time from the time server. Reset your Internet explorer settings and install flash player. If still not working go for Google chrome for it already has flash in it.

Update your windows through windows update in the settings>PC personal settings. Then restart the system and then make sure there is no more windows updates. Then head over to the windows store and there should be an free windows 8.1 update waiting for you, click on that and be patient (Make sure you are logged in a Microsoft account as that is your user account and password is the same as you login to your email and any other microsoft related services (Hotmail or live email address)). Then restart the system and download the additional updates on the windows store + windows update. Restart again and bang you should be able to run youtube.

For startmenu like in 7, download free IObit Startmenu8, it automatically lets the user go to Desktop mode and set it like Windows 7.
