Why does my computer keep giving message "Internet Explorer has stopped working"? Then after several seconds?
It then gives message the windows will close program and notify me if a solution is available. Then, no solution is given, but it reopens -- usually a page or so back. What can I do to resolve this problem??

Post operating system & version of IE.
I used to get a similar message abt 3 months ago in IE 10, Win7 Home Premium and after a while they stopped. I install most windows updates [not IE 11 yet,] so maybe an update stopped the prob. google the message w/ your OS and IE version #. == I've been using Windows since Win95 and have never used a registry "cleaner." I don't like the risk. and cleaners aren't specifically anti malware. == My Question to YA 3 mos ago was this: message "www.website.com is not responding," with a button labeled Recover the website. No matter what I've tried so far, including Recover, & End Task in Task Manager, causes IE 10 to close. The Back button is non-responsive. I'm using Win 7 Home Premium == |
