It is good for SEO because you bring a lot of eye balls to your blog or your site. You drive traffic by using that article of yours. The more people read it, the more traffic you are going to get. That is why you submit your article to a set of article directory. It is like you do the advertisement to a large population or geography, so to speak. Once you have a lot of traffic, the big search engine like Google would think that your site is popular and providing good service to a lot of people (community) that are interested in your service. However, you must have a great content to begin with and a great content is a keyword rich article that is related to what the readers are looking for. It must provide benefits to readers or your audience.
