how to get rid of Instagram followers?

I know how to block them but I don't want to block them I just want them to be removed from seeing my Instagram. I already unfollowed then but how do I get them to go away. like if they searched my user name it would come to my profile instead of the blocked thing

i don't know how much this will help but what I would do is I would make my account on private

Try Setting your Instagram Account on Private And Remove Them From your Followers List Once you Have Done That you Have to Approve Them In Order For Them to Come Back Onto your Account

unfortunately the only way is blocking them. putting your account on private doesn't affect your current followers, it only prevents new ones from following you without your permission. They most likely wont find out if you block them so don't be afraid
