how do i get a website?

Im mainly refering to like how i get a domain name and other things like that not how to create it

You can choose a domain name and have check if that is available or not. You can check this at namecheap.com and if you found out the right domain name which is available just go to GoDaddy make an account with them and register your liked domain name by paying around 10$ per domain. Then you have to choose an host providers like hostgator and others (google it). Change the nameserver of your registered domain with that of host. Now you have to install wordpress to get going.

You can use many of the free website co. like webs.com or wix.com. Both are good- use easy to upload templates and you can upgrade to paid websites at your choosing. They also offer domain name registration.
godaddy.com is decent for that also.
You can go through Google or Yahoo but as to Yahoo- it got complicated and not worth it in my opinion (at least for me).
Wix and webs also offer apps for sales, stores, contact, email,chatrooms or discussion boards and more...

go to godaddy.com they offer everything you need to create a website hosting,domain names,wordpress, and alot of other cool features.i would recomend getting the ultimate package because it has alot more features and is just a couple bucks more. Here is a link for 20% off any package you decide to buy.(look in sources for link) Also if you have the money and would like a dedicated server go daddy can do all the hardwork for you. (its pretty expensive tho)

Get a Domain name and install Wordpress on it ..its easy to design or create a Website..for one year free domain name you can get from ONE dot COM ...All the best

I've been using free Yola with a paid domain. But their WYSIWYG editor blows. I am moving to Wix soon, which is also free.
