how do add new site url in google and yahoo database?

Becasue I have new website... but if i m put my site url sidhbalidev.com it not showing me any thing ... in both googl and yahoo. I wana do SEO aslo. But I think before Doing SEO. Google and Yahoo must have to know about my site. Help me....

According to Ashers. Webmaster tools, I did it and 3 days has been passed.
Here is more details of my Question,

Some time if u will type full URL of any site like yahoo.com. U will get the result on first numbers and first page. Right .

My site is new, I hosted it on 24 Jan 2009. But when I m typing my full URL in to google. It's not showing me any thing.
So that I asked this question, I have done all stepes on google webmastre tools and get varifyed it. But google is not show result like this If I m typeing my full URL (sidhbalidev.com) in google.
I think before doing SEO, I have to register my site in google and yahoo. And we can check like this wether my site is register or not.

Will it take time?
Or should I have to pay google?
Because after that I will SEO for my site.

click on the link which says add new links

You have to do a series of things including adding meta tags, etc.

I am not sure what you have to do exactly so you might want to Google it!

As you say you have got yourself verified as a domain owner in webmaster tools the steps to follow are:


1) Create a sitemap using: http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/
2) Upload it to your root folder and submit it to google through webmaster tools
3) Goto Sitemap--> Tools --> generate robots.txt and submit it.

Moreover, I just have a look at your website there is nothing in it for which google will index it on "On-page basis". There is not a single sentence written!!!
