Help. I need a Facebook detective...?
A few months ago, someone I didn't know sent me a facebook message, that was really trashy, about my boyfriend. I assumed it was his jealous ex gf, on a fake account. I could see a profile pic in the icon, but I couldn't click on her profile, so I assumed she blocked me on the fake account. I messaged her real account, and she immediately blocked me.

Now scrolling back through my messages, I can still see her profile pic (even though I'm blocked)... but the pic from the fake account is gone.. Does that mean she deactivated it?? And is there anyway I can view the fake profile?
Obviously she blocked me, Michael... that's why I can't find her in searches and can't click on her profile from the messages... if you don't have an answer then don't waste my time. Especially if you don't know how blocking works.

When things like this happen you immediately report it to Facebook and don't ignore it. You have no idea if that person is a stalker.

This is a waste of time and effort.

First of all, you are not "blocked" by the ex girlfriend. If you were blocked, you wouldn't be able to find her in a search, which means you wouldn't even be able to see her profile picture. What she did was set her account to private so only her friends could see her account.

If it was her who made this so-called "fake account", she probably deactivated it, so there is no way for you to see the profile. What would be the point anyway? If someone goes through the trouble of making a fake account, do you think they would put their REAL information in a profile? This account probably had no profile except for a picture.

Stop wasting your time on this. You've already been stewing over this for months (according to you). Did you even think to discuss this matter with your boyfriend to get HIS take on all this garbage?

Log out of Facebook so you are not logged in at all, then search her name and see if you can see her profile. If there is no picture, it means she deleted her profile pics. If the profile were disabled, you would not be able to see anything - you would get a Facebook page saying "The page you are searching for cannot be found and may have been disabled"
