What would make you stay or go from this website?
http://www.devilonadinosaur.com

The site is a fantasy/science fiction/future website.
I have changed the layout countless times from being a blog to being a website etc.

What would make you stay or go?

The FULL 60 SECONDS the home page took to load on my DSL connection is reason enough for me to leave without ever seeing the site.

This is a huge problem, possibly cause the great majority of potential visitors from ever getting there, perhaps this is a temporary server issue, you may well need to change hosts.

I would not put that Adsense at the top until getting thousands of visitors a week, ads do not help search ranking and can turn off visitors, you could use some stronger identity/branding graphics in that position. Ad units intermexed with the content, perhaps in similar sized rects tend to perform better anyway.

Even small load delays increases the 'bounce' rate, )people who leave without clicking any links). One seminar report describe a case with a 5 sec load time giving a 20% bounce rate, reducing load time to 1/2 sec, reduced bounce rate to 5%.

The good points:
1.Your website has a good speed. It loads pretty fast.
2.The images are good. Thumbs up!
3.Your website has a lot of content, it has a lot of categories within. That's really good.

The bad points:
1.Your should work on the description of every image that you post. The images are good, but they would add more meaning if a short description of every figure would be included. It would keep your users involved.
2.Work on your website layout and design. It seems to be too simple.
3.Add more pictures on the home page as well and avoid using the 'More' option.
