If you immediately unlike a picture on instagram can they tell?

I accidentally liked someone's picture and then unliked it. Will they still get a notification? I changed my instagram name right after so will they see the new name or the old name i had when i liked it?

If they has there phone on they can see the notification but if u unlike the picture the notification will go away

Yeah, kitty, was pretty much correct. Once you like a pic, it'll show up on their notifications a second later. If the person happens to be looking at their notifications and you unlike the pic, they'd have to refresh the notification page in order to notice it disappeared. Usually something like that goes completely unnoticed. It's a little thing. Don't sweat it.
