Why does my internet connection time out? Very annoying?

Every 6-8 hours or so, my internet connection sorta times out.

I have internet its all fun, but randomly my computer can't find it so i have to restart my computer. It gets very annoying because restarting my computer sucks, its a fat old comp.

Anyway to fix this? After i restart my comp it works but i hate doing that.

it may be because your internet connection is'nt as good as it should be

Are you on dial-up? DSL? Cable? Satellite? Without knowing we would just have to speculate.

I don't think its your computer but rather than your internet connection itself.

Pls include if you are using a router and what type of internet connection you have.
