Instagram question?

I'm planning on getting an iPod touch 2 16GB I'm mainly getting it for Intsragram. Will Instagram work with the iPod because if not I should get an 3rd gen.
Also does the iPod touch 8GB 3rd gen exist? I can't find it on Amazon
My cousin has it but haven't been able to find it

Yes instagram does work on iPod and it's best not to be a picture hoarder and keep every picture or that would waste all the space on the iPod so I would recommend to delete picture when necessary and yes again a iPod 3 gen 8GB does exist and probably try another site because Amazon seems to not sell certain items that others do or buy it at your local electronic store
