Internet problems on laptop?

The Internet on my laptop stops working when someone is using the land line phone. My laptop is Toshiba. I use Google Chrome as my browser. Everything works fine until someone is using the house phone. Please give me detailed instructions on how to fix this issue. This laptop is the only device that has problems. Our other dinosaur computer doesn't have this problem and other laptops work fine when the phone is being used.

Have you installed enough filters for everything that uses the phone line?

Contact your phone/DSL provider, this is a problem on their side, they need to put a filter in your service.
