How to get a sponsorship?

My AAU Basketball team, had recently won the silver bracket for a tournament we were in and qualified for TNC Nationals in Virginia Beach. Everything thing was ok for a while and the team was really excited about going. But just last week when I went to practice the coach said that we could no longer go because not enough people could afford it. It's really sad because this was going to be our last year together, and some us needed this, because it would've been our last chance to get college coaches and scouts to look at us before our senior year. I hate that we can't go and have this experience because of something like money.

How can we get a sponsorship for the team??

also how much would the sponsorship cover and would we have to get more than one?

Ask your coach how much finance is needed.

You could look at raising funds as a team such as cake sales, yard sales, team events etc
and/or look at sponsorship. Get others on the team involved. Most people have contacts within their family/friends that can help.
