What is wrong with my internet connection?
I HAVE BEEN UNDER A GREAT, GREAT DEAL OF STRESS DURING THE PAST FEW DAYS WITH MY INTERNET CONNECTION. IT KEEPS DYING EVERY TIME I TRY TO USE IT. I HAVE TRIED RESETTING AND RESETTING AND RESETTING THE MODEM MANY TIMES TO TRY TO GET THE INTERNET UP AND RUNNING, BUT AFTER USING IT FOR A FEW HOURS IT STOPS RESPONDING.

I NEED TO KNOW WTF IS GOING ON WITH MY INTERNET CONNECTION LATELY.

Sorry for my tone of voice.
I have checked the wires on the internet, and reset the modem a few times.

Well, a little more info would help. What ISP are you using? Model of your modem? Have you tried calling your ISP tech support?

That would be a better start.

Like Dude in Canada said. We need more information. DSL and Cable modems have simple lights that will tell you what the status of your connections is, it differs from model to model and type. If when your internet fails, before you reboot them make note of those lights, make note of the colors and blinks(like two fast blinks, one slow blink). Once you reboot them and they are up and running again, your internet is fine make note once again to those lights. By identifying the differences they will help to isolate what your problem might be. It could be a service related issue, like your cable line has a lot of noise, or your signal is too low or too high(yes that can be a problem). It also can be a hardware related issue, like does your router limit the amount of data to each respective computer, or your modem hangs after a while and needs to be reset. Like Dude in Canada said start with by calling your Internet Service Provider, you are paying for a subscription service and you deserve to get what your paying for especially if your renting there equipment. Good Luck!

p.s. if it does turn out to be there problem, they owe you a refund or pro rate for the shoddy service you have been receiving.
