Im jealous of my friends in facebook?
I actually just want to share about this.. i have a lot of friends in FB and honestly, im pretty jealous seeing them enjoying their life, hanging out with their friends and doing all sort of things. Im an engineer and people say that engineer life is boring..well for me, im a quite active person and i enjoy the work that im doing now. But still, i feel jealous of the things my friends posted in FB and im thinking why i cannot enjoy my life more like them?? this especially hurt my feelings a bit when i see my ex gf posted somthing intresting with her bf..Do any other people experience this things or it is just me who face it?? Anyone care to share??

Your problem is you compare yourself to them and don't focus on what you personally enjoy compared to them. All my friends have a fiancé on my fb it's allllll about them, and sometimes I do get jealous that I don't have that..but you gotta just keep in mind that you are different from them and you need to enjoy what you have and do!! Who cares what they think? If you enjoy your job then screw them. Head up!

Facebook doesn't show the bad parts of people's lives, only the best parts. You never see posts about someone skinning their knee, stubbing their toe, or getting rejected because they want to look better than they really are.

Most people like that on Facebook share the same hollow personalty, thats why you see them getting drunk and poising together all happy. They really do not have any real direction in their lives and like a flock of sheep they all have to be together following each other nowhere.
For them, their lives are meaningless and all they will have left at the end of their lives is no money plus a bunch of stories no one cares about anymore.

My tip for you is to find people like-minded to hang around with, this is difficult because engineers can be quiet bunch. Think industry groups, hobby groups ect.
Do not change yourself just to suit your party FB crowd, slowly cull you current FB friend list or at least move them to acquaintances.
Focus on bettering yourself, making lots of money and being successful. That will give those FB friends something to talk about.
