if i wanted to sell some signed memorabilia, for example some gloves that are signed by a famous boxer, then how would I go about contacting that certain celebrity.

How do other charities do that?

A lot of celebs will sing for charity events. The problem is authentication. You might know the signature is real, but to a potential buyer (yes, even for charity) its a risk--how do they know that you didnt sign this item. To ACQUIRE to signatures, most of the time a simple note or email sent to the agency that represents the person will do (dont forget to tell them that its for charity and when the event will be).
