Question about truth and Facebook login.?

Ok so viewing Facebook login of my fiancé, it said "active 9 minutes ago"-obviously logged off. Now, ten minutes later the icon next to her name on chat is lit up showing that she is logged on. I asked her why she hadn't read my message yet and it was claimed that she had NOT logged on at all during the frame of time in question. Going back I saw that she was again logged off. About ten minutes after THAT, the damn thing says active 2 minutes ago, indicating that within that 10 minute window she logged back on AGAIN-which again she denies. I honestly don't care that she goes on Facebook-whatever, but why the need to lie about it? So-does Facebook randomly log you in and out when it is obvious, by Facebook itself, that you were in fact logged out for at least a little while?

fb android app keeps checking updates every now & then. Thats why it shows online.
