Someone help me! Amazon problems?

I put a question up saying I put my ipod on Amazon and it got a buy but I now realise I wanna keep it and someone said the only way was to just contact the buyer and see what he says. If I contacted him and returned his money how would we get the item off Amazon and get everything back to how it was because if I keep it on there won't it start saying I still have to ship it out and stuff or does he just have to remove it from his cart and then I can go into my inventory and remove it?

just ask the buyer to cancel the order if it is not shipped yet and refund the money and then remove your ad.
