How do groups on Facebook work? ?

Do you Have to be friends with the creator or someone in The group to view the group or join it? Or can just anyone look at it? Just a simple question....

It depends on the privacy setting there are 3 options:

1. Open: Anyone can see the group, who's in it and what members post. You must request to join.
2. Closed : Anyone can see the group and who's in it. Only members see posts. You must be invited to join.
3. Secret: Only members see the group, who's in it and what members post. You must be invited to join.

That all depends on the privacy settings you set up for your groups. You will need to double-check your group settings to know who can visit your group.
