Google Chrome: How to download Google Chrome Extension ?

In order to download a simple 100kb google chrome extension, we needto wait for the whole shitty Google chrome Webstore heavy website to proper download.

Trying to download "Times of India" and "Hover Image" Google chrome extension. End up closing the site downloading 15 mega Byte of datas and couldn't trace it.

Can some one help me understand, how to download easily without letting load all these big sites?

try this:
•Click on the wrench icon located on the upper right corner of Google Chrome window.
•Choose Options.
•Click under the Hood Tab.
•Uncheck the Notify me when a Pop-Up is blocked under Web content.
•Then click Close and Restart your Chrome browser to apply the changes.
