How do colleges check your social networking sites?

I understand that colleges do check your social networking sites but I just wanted to know how. I mean they can't go out and check everyone's individual tweets can they? So is there a program that checks them or do they only check random ones or what?

They don't check every bodies social media accounts. Assuming that even the smallest schools in the country have 2,000+ students, and most have 1 or more social media account, that would be a lot of work. However, if they see your name they may perhaps take a look. Nevertheless, don't put shit on facebook you don't want them to see.

they search your name and if they think its you the they will check your profile. Dont put rude thing on ur wall.
