Internet Connection to Ps3 through my laptop?
Ive got a hotspot on my phone that is turned on so that i get internet on my laptop. Unfortunately when i try to play online gaming the signal isnt very good so it slows the gameplay down. On my laptop however the signal strength is four to five bars. So can i hook up my laptop to my ps3 and use the internet connection on my laptop?

Holy moly NO! You can not play multiplayer off a cell phone signal!!
That's like trying to download a retail movie on dial up. Ads |

There is no way that even a 4G signal would be decent enough to run internet from a cell phone. Phones are quite capable and can access a lot, but when it comes to online gaming, even a 1.5Mbps internet connection doesn't really do it justice. Phones can't download that fast or access movies that fast - it would be nearly impossible.
In other words, there's no way any cellular internet connection would be sufficient for a gaming console such as the PS3. |
