Does Dishonored require an internet connection when playing?

I think i will buy the game from steam today, but im abit conserned... My internet is kindof sucky, so it would be nice to know if it doesn´t use it at all!! Assassins creed 2 for example, has to have internet connection, so it lags for me, even though i should run it in high quality without problems!...

Single Player does not require internet connection.

When you play SP then you do not need internet connection.

I don't think so but there is this new thing called Google give it a try.

Other than needing the internet connection to download the game, you don't need it to play the single player part of the game. I'm actually not even sure there is a multi-player portion of the game.
