ps3 Internet connection?

I've waited long enough to do this (probably because I don't know how) but I need to know how to get Internet connection on my ps3. I know I need a wireless router and Ethernet cable but I'm not sure where to go from there. I already have a computer, but its not connected to the Internet by a router, and to connect the cable from my computer to my ps3 would be such a pain in the butt. So I guess I need to know what routers and cables are compatible and how to set it up. Any help is more than greatly appreciated.

Ok here are going to be your physical connections:

-Cable from the wall to your Broadband Modem
-Ethernet cable from your modem to the Wireless Routers WAN (Internet) port
-Ethernet cable from the routers ethernet port to your computers ethernet port

Then follow the instructions that come with your router to set it up. After you have verified that the internet connection is working on your computer you cango on to your PS3.

On the PS3 goto the Wireless networking section and follow the setup screens.
