I think my facebook/Instagram is being hacked, what should I do?
For the past couple of weeks, I've been getting notifications on facebook of people liking my activity on instagram. When I click on the notification, it says I've liked pictures on Instagram that I've never even liked. At first I thought it was hacked so I changed my instagram password, but it still keeps happening. What should I do?

Make a new account and shut this one down before things get much worse, Instagram and facebook are connected with email and email is connected with almost everything private.

If you changed your password and it is still happening, you probably have a trojan or virus on your computer allowing a hacker to know your new password. You should use a different computer, change the password to both your facebook and instagram accounts, and any other sensitive accounts, like your email, bank and etc.

Update your virus protection and do a Full system scan. If it finds nothing, download Spybot Search and Destroy (free version) and see if it finds anything. If you don't have a virus protection program on your computer, you can download a free one directly from MicroSoft called Microsoft Essentials free virus protection. It will not slow your machine down like others sometimes do, and it is totally free. It will update your firewall and give you good protection as well as find anything that is causing your problem, if your machine has been compromised.

If they hacked that they might have lots more of your info. Subscribe to one of the
identity theft prevention services. Close those 2 accounts and open new ones with
strong passwords. Get a high end anti virus and malware program and do full scans
of your computer.
