Its not did, but do.
Just a special distro made for the job. Any one can roll a specialist distro takes between 20 min and 5 days depending on complexity. Cost nothing. Thats the usefulness of Linux, You can do any thing with almost no restrictions. Facebook is open source software and most of the code that facebook has developed has been put out to the community as per the opensource licence. I cant see microsoft doing that!!!! Try that on Microsoft or apple. With microsoft its possible but only a few hundred people can work with the restricted code and the cost is huge. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/69698...ok-twitter http://royal.pingdom.com/2010/06/18/the-...-facebook/ So you get the idea that its a linux kernel then the apps/programs are built around the kernel to form a new Linux distro. I use puppy its easy to build a new distro ( collectively called Puplets) Ads |
